Wolsborn-Drazovich Memorial Math Contest
The 2009 Contest was a success. Here are the results by year.
Contest results by year:
Each school (grades 7-12) may enter any number of students. This number may, however, be restricted by individual directors due to facilities limitations.
Students in grades 11 and 12 will compete in Class A, those in grades 9 and 10 will compete in class B, and 7th and 8th graders will compete separately.
School team scores in classes A and B will consist of the sum of the three highest scores from each school in each class. Schools competing with fewer than three students in a class may still vie for individual honors.
Each student will work individually on the tests, and the school sponsor(s) will monitor the contestants. No reference materials may be used by the contestants; however, calculators are permissible.
A battery of five timed tests will be administered, each to last twenty minutes. The sponsor(s) will distribute, collect and grade the tests. Pencils and scratch paper should be furnished by the school and distributed by the sponsor(s).
A charge of two dollars per contestant will be collected from each school to defray contest expenses. Checks should be made payable to "Treasurer - WCTM" and mailed directly to the current treasurer:
Lynne Ipina - Treasurer, WCTM
